Athletic and academic, that was how JS Hercules was defined when a group of football loving students from University of Oulu founded the club back in 1998. A lot of water has flown in Oulu river since those days, but JS Hercules is still going strong and making a profound mark both on and off the pitch in Oulu region.
Currently in the Finnish second division, the first team gives young, aspiring players a superb opportunity to grow as players and athletes and take the next steps in their career. But the Hercules impact does not stop there, the club is committed to support families in joint sporting activities through their Lähirähinä concept and during the past couple years Hercules has also expanded into eSports.
